The following represents only a sampling of some of our more standard products and reports. We are additionally experienced in providing specialized services to meet your HUD, USDA, or LIHTC/Section 42 project requirements.

  • Assist in developing operating budgets, including estimates of advertising and marketing expenses, costs of acquiring fixtures, furnishings and equipment, salaries, and other costs reasonably likely to be incurred in connection with establishment and initial operations of the Facility.
  • Provide information relating to the marketing and management of the Facility as necessary to secure financing.
  • Attend local meetings to facilitate zoning changes or variances, and assist in completing applications and supporting documentation applicable to request for land use approval.
  • Consult architectural, engineering and construction teams to review drawings and plans to assure that the building meets operational requirements.
  • Using information supplied, complete applications for applicable state licensure, including obtaining Medicaid contracts and certificates of need where applicable.
  • Contract for the acquisition and delivery of all fixtures, furnishings, and equipment to be used in the establishment and initial operation of the Facility.
  • Assist in the selection of interior design and decorative elements, including carpet, flooring, and wall and window coverings.
  • Determine community specific marketing and media strategies to promote the Facility.
  • Develop site drive-by strategy, including recommendations regarding signage placement and design.
  • Prepare collateral materials including development, design, and ordering of brochures, stationary, business cards, and related materials as appropriate.
  • Plan and coordinate a ground breaking ceremony, including issuance of press releases, promoting community attendance, and coordinating local press coverage.
  • Respond to marketing-related inquiries and disseminate pertinent information regarding the Facility.
  • Plan and coordinate a ribbon cutting ceremony, open house, and professional preview: Includes publishing press releases, facilitating appropriate community attendance and/or participation, ensuring press coverage, setting up local advertising of event and distributing announcements.
  • Develop a database of appropriate community contacts and area resources for continued marketing and public relations efforts for the new facility.
  • Process initial applications and reservations, including tracking inquiries, establishing waiting lists, monitoring unit availability, and related preadmissions and admissions tasks.
  • Develop marketing materials as necessary to the overall development strategy, including design, development, ordering and arrangement of specific advertisements, materials, signage, newsletters, and other marketing materials to further promote or introduce the Facility to the community.
  • Conduct networking activities with local professionals and key community contacts and make presentations about the Facility to appropriate community organizations.
  • Provide marketing training and continued direction to the director of the Facility.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train a director for the Facility.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire for non-professional staff, including care aides, cooks, and custodial personnel.
  • Provide an initial staff orientation and ongoing training for non-professional staff members.
  • Provide position descriptions for all staff.
  • Provide Policy & Procedure and Operations Manuals to provide guidelines for the ongoing operations of the Facility. Such manuals will be adapted, where necessary, to meet state-specific laws and regulations.
  • Provide all operational systems and administrative materials necessary to the Facility's continuing operations.
  • Contract for the installation and maintenance of telephone services and equipment, copy and telecopy equipment, and related products and services.
  • Provide or coordinate alarm system checks, medication room set-up, kitchen set-up, nurse call systems check, and other services necessary to permit the opening of the Facility.
  • Negotiate and establish contracts and accounts with vendors to provide products and services necessary to the initial operations of the Facility.
  • Select an appropriate pharmacy to provide products and services to the Facility and its residents; negotiate and execute a pharmacy services agreement.
  • Obtain all necessary licenses and permits, and coordinate necessary inspections, for services to be provided to residents of the Facility, including beauty and barber services, business licenses, and food service inspection.
  • Establish bank accounts.
  • Obtain insurance necessary or customary in the anticipated operation of the Facility, including comprehensive general liability, malpractice insurance for any professional and paraprofessional employees, workers' compensation, and such health coverage and similar employee welfare benefit insurance as may reasonably be requested.
  • Develop an activity schedule for residents of the Facility, including solicitation of community participation by churches, civic and social organizations, and community groups.
