The Taft Home, a historic Portland landmark, originally built as a hotel in the early 1900’s, continues to keep its doors open to individuals with special needs, placing particular emphasis on underserved populations such as low-income seniors and disabled adults and those with behavioral and mental health needs. The Taft Home uses a team approach to person centered care through involvement with case managers, physicians and nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, and local mental health professionals to ensure services best meet the individual needs of each resident.
