Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCS)

Continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), also known as life care communities.

These campus-like settings combine different types of housing and levels of care, giving residents the ability to gradually increase services without having to transition to a different community. CCRCs generally offer a contract that is intended to remain in effect for the resident's lifetime. Beginning with independent or assisted living housing, residents will have the ability to move into a different part of the same campus if/when needed.
